Rapid Cycle Redesign – Michelle Derr, PhD

This presentation focuses on the use of “road tests” and other rapid-cycle techniques for refining the implementation of a promising intervention and integrating it into existing services. Drawing from Mathematica’s Learn, Innovate, Improve (LI2) process—a collaborative, evidence-informed approach to managing program change and continuous quality improvement—these rapid-cycle techniques support practitioners during the Improve phase. Case study examples will illustrate how these methods have been used by human service and workforce programs to improve outcomes for children and families.
