Impact Partner Coordinator, Coalition on Temporary Shelter
Nicole Carbonari is the Passport to Self-Sufficiency Impact Partner Coordinator at the Coalition on Temporary Shelter (COTS) in Detroit. Nicole is responsible for the administration, coordination, and development of partnerships, collaborations, and resources for COTS’ Passport to Self-Sufficiency™.
COTS’ Passport to Self-Sufficiency™ is closely modeled off of EMPath’s Bridge to Self-Sufficiency and works to assist families through coaching and mentoring. Nicole grows and maintains community partnerships within the five domains of PTS; housing and family stability, financial empowerment, education and training, health and well-being, and employment and career development.
Nicole holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Michigan. Her academic and professional experience lies in the area of community organizing, poverty reduction and alleviation, and affordable housing and homelessness.
