Michael Carr, PhD

Michael Carr is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. His research focuses primarily on the causes and consequences of rising inequality. Currently, he research projects on earnings stability funded by the Russell Sage Foundation, on economic mobility funded by the Washington Center for Growth, and is part of the research team at the Center for Social Policy at UMass Boston. He has also published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. He received his PhD in 2009 from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
