Jason Bauman, JD

Policy Manager, J-PAL North America

Jason Bauman is a Policy Manager at J-PAL North America, and Manager of J-PAL North America’s U.S. Health Care Delivery Initiative. Jason collaborates with governments, non-profit organizations, foundations, and private enterprises to develop rigorous evidence on policies and programs that impact poverty and to support evidence-based policymaking, funding, and programming decisions. Jason’s work focuses on health care delivery, education, crime, and criminal justice. Prior to joining J-PAL, Jason worked as a transactional lawyer at Foley Hoag LLP and as a research assistant at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. An experienced mediator, Jason is a member of the Harvard Mediation Program and has served on the program’s training corps. Jason holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and B.A. in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University.
